Join us for a look at what’s ahead for ISD 191! Meet ISD 191’s new Superintendent Dr. Latanya Daniels and hear what she’s most excited about — including the new AA degree program for students and the upcoming tech levy renewal. Learn about impactful partnerships through the Burnsville Business Education Network (BEN) — from workplace experiences and online job fairs to Manufacturing Month and teacher externships. Share your ideas during our listening and learning session, discover ways to get involved, and connect with fellow community and Chamber members before and after the program.
State of the Schools is hosted by the Burnsville and Savage Chambers in partnership with ISD191.
About Dr. Latanya Daniels
Daniels comes to ISD191 from Richfield Public Schools as assistant superintendent. Her experience also includes time as principal at Richfield High School and Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, as well as experience as a middle school math teacher and as a school success program assistant. She holds an educational doctorate degree and masters of education degree from the University of St. Thomas.
About the Business Education Network
The Burnsville Business Education Network (BEN) was developed in December 2017 to connect employers with education to help students become future ready and community strong. All BEN programs are geared towards developing core skills and supporting District 191’s Profile of a Learner. Learn more about BEN event and programs, and how you can get involved.
