Native Prairie Workshop

Whether you live in the city or a rural area, you can create natural areas in your yard by planting native prairie where your lawn or crop fields once were! The Scott Soil and Water Conservation District in Jordan is hosting two free native prairie workshops in Scott County this winter. The first date is Tuesday, February 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Credit River Town Hall; the second workshop is slated for Thursday, March 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Legends Golf Club (Legends will be open for dining before the workshop begins). You can register for either date.
